What You'll Be Wrenching On:Diving into diagnostics and fixing a variety of vehicle issues with speed and precision. Tackling routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs. Staying ahead of the curve by identifying potential problems before they escalate. Keeping your workspace spotless and organized, ensuring safety and efficiency every step of the way. Always be ready to team up and tackle anything - whether its a tricky repair or lending a hand where its needed most, you're all in. Reviewing work orders and discussing work with supervisor Inspecting motor in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults Adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications Performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups Advising customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.
