Perform predictive and corrective maintenance on facility assets and complete scheduled preventative maintenance, to ensure the highest degree of reliability in a safe and cost effective manner; Perform time critical repairs on packaging and production equipment; Assist engineering and maintenance with projects and equipment upgrades; Maintain, repair, upgrade, install and test electrical controls and equipment; Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications; Maintains record of work performed on a daily log sheet and preventative maintenance documents; Follow directions from the Maintenance Lead and Manager. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment; Journeyman Electrician Certification (442A or 309A); Food processing background is considered an asset; PLC Programming and troubleshooting skills would be an asset; Experience installing and maintaining power distribution systems, automation systems, lighting, and building wiring; Flexible work schedule to work 12-hour continental shift rotation and open to on-call shifts including overtime; Hourly wage rate is $40.We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage applications from a wide variety of candidates in order to staff a diverse workforce that is representative of the communities in which we operate.
