Day-to-DayInsight Global is looking for a Scheduling and Payroll Strategist to join our client in the cannabis industry local to Winnipeg, MB. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will require you to work on-site in Winnipeg 5-days per week (Monday-Friday). The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3-years of experience working within payroll and preferably also have scheduling experience within the retail industry. In the role, you'll be overseeing payroll for approximately 100-employees across 20 different locations in and around the Winnipeg area. Regarding the payroll function of the role, you will be accurately processing payroll through the ADP payroll system, ensuring that employees are paid on time and correctly. Additionally, you'll maintain employee records, which include wage changes, position title updates, and designation changes. Lastly, you'll approve timecards, resolve any payroll related issues and oversee benefit plan processes. From a scheduling perspective, you'll develop, maintain and optimize schedules for all locations across the organization to ensure efficiency and optimization across shifts. With your experience, you'll be looking to also improve payroll and scheduling processes internally.Must Haves- 3+ years' experience working within payroll and scheduling- Hands on experience working within payroll systems such as ADP, QuickBooks or Paychex- Experience with scheduling software such as MakeShift- Strong Excel experience working with formulas such as VLookUps or PivotTables for reporting- Knowledge of labour laws, regulations and company policies related to payroll and schedulingPlusses- Experience coming from the retail industryLogistics:Location: Winnipeg, MBRole Type: Full-Time, PermanentEnvironment: On-site, Monday - FridaySalary: $55,000-$65,000/yr
