From our original roots as a small 6 team hockey league, we have grown into one of the largest adult sports leagues with over 25,000 players across 60+ cities.With a focus on creating a strong, competitive, inclusive community, and delivering exceptional experiences both on and off the field of play, LUG is the ticket that students, adults, and alumni need for all of their sport and social needs.About the RoleWere looking for a hungry, organized, and resourceful Venue Partnerships Representative to help us secure the best sports facilities (inventory) across North America. This role sits at the intersection of sales and operations, working closely with both teams to source and lock in rinks, courts, fields, and more. Whether its finding prime-time ice in Winnipeg or turf in Boston, youll help make our leagues possible by building relationships, negotiating rates, and managing the full pipeline of facility outreach. We want the experience for our players to be Professional grade, and that means playing at the same facilities as the Pros because how cool would it be to play softball at Fenway?Youll be responsible for understanding where games need to happen, building outreach lists, managing communications, and tracking progress in our CRM. Youll work hand-in-hand with the sales team to understand league demand forecasts, and with operations to make sure what gets booked works. Think of this role like a BDR for facilitieshitting outreach targets, moving deals through the funnel, and securing great locations and time slots, all while managing a growing book of markets.This is a fast-moving, high-impact, commissioned role where your ability to keep deals organized and moving forward will directly affect our success. Youll be helping to build the backbone of every league we run. The role is ideal for someone eager to grow alongside the business and carve out a long-term path at LUG.ResponsibilitiesSource and secure high-quality sports facilities (ice rinks, fields, courts, etc.) for leagues across North America.Maintain and manage a pipeline of outreach to facilities using our CRM.Understand where leagues are projected to run and align efforts to secure facilities that support growth targets.Build and maintain relationships with facility managers and decision-makers.Work cross-functionally with the sales and operations teams to ensure facility availability matches player demand and scheduling needs.Track, update, and report on the status of facility deals regularly to the leadership team.Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts to secure the best possible locations and time slots.Proactively follow up with facilities and internal stakeholders to ensure deals close on time.Identify and solve roadblocks that could delay booking or impact quality of experience.Help define and refine best practices for facility outreach and management.About You1 - 3 years of experience in sales, operations, or account management (co-op or internship experience counts).A student or recent graduate in Business, Operations, or a related field.Exceptionally organized, with a strong sense of ownership over your work.Youre someone with a growth mindset - excited to take initiative, improve over time, and level up as the company grows.Driven and resourceful - someone who will find a way, not wait to be told how.Excellent communicator who can build rapport quickly and keep deals moving.Comfortable managing a CRM and juggling multiple priorities at once.Loves sports and wants to be part of a team making them more accessible and fun.Confident in working independently, problem-solving on the fly, and holding others accountable to timelines.Youre not just looking for your next role, youre looking to be part of a winning team thats building something special and unique.Additional NotesWere a remote-first team and output is more important than facetime, so where you choose to work is up to you as long as you have internet access, you can work from wherever helps to make you successful, and your family happy.League games typically take place on evenings and weekends.
