We''re currently hiring a Tree Operations Crew Member for a term position planting boulevard trees throughout the City of Selkirk. This is a great opportunity for university students, recent grads, or anyone looking for rewarding seasonal work in the outdoors. You''ll be part of a small, supportive crew making a real impact on local green spaces. For the right person, theres potential to stay on through the summer, assisting with tree pruning and removal, projects. What Youll Be Doing: Planting and staking boulevard trees with care and attention to detail Working on a small, supportive team in a hands-on, outdoor setting What Were Looking For: You enjoy physical, outdoor work in all types of weather ( we dont plant if it is pouring rain) Youre reliable, hardworking, and work well with a team Landscaping, planting, or tree care experience is an asset but not required Youre interested in sustainability, green space, or making a visible impact in your community A valid Manitoba license (class 3 is an asset but not required) Job Details: Term Dates: May 8 June 20 Hours: Full-time, 810 hour days. But were flexible and happy to work with your schedule. We can accommodate a 4 day work week or a need to be off at a certain time, etc. Wage: $20/hour to start Location: Selkirk, MB Transportation: Carpool available from Winnipeg (bonus if you can drive!)
