The candidate will oversee all food and beverage operations to ensure that all financial costs and goals are met while maintaining all service standards. He/she will also have a proven history of analyzing and understanding all food and beverage costs and controls and assisting in developing accurate forecasts and strategies to maximize profits. You will direct and assist in developing and implementing innovative food and beverage ideas and constantly seek creative ways to improve service quality, food and beverage revenues, and profitability. This role is pure operations with a strong customer service focus. You will drive guest satisfaction and customer service to the highest levels and provide a safe, clean, and progressive work environment for the team. Key responsibilities include; team performance, increased sales and profitability, adequate cost controls, and talent development, training and retention. To achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and managing all F&B operations, catering, events, restaurants and bars. They would like someone with at least 5 years of experience in high-quality operations and properties. They will also possess a proven track record in building, developing and implementing sound food and beverage labour costs and controls and achieving superior revenue. This position requires an individual to work side-by-side with the food and beverage team and assist them in reaching and achieving their operational goals. Through your outstanding communication and practical management skills, you will be a Team Player within this forward-thinking organization and maintain a close and effective working relationship with all food and beverage leaders and colleagues through their respective departments. A University degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management is strongly desired for this position. Experience in a union environment preferred Entrepreneurial mindset, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and develop proactive, rational solutions. Holding individuals at all levels accountable with strong follow-up while providing motivation at all levels. Must be savvy in social media and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
