Job Posting Director of Marketing Location: Onsite Ottawa, Ontario Position Type: Full-Time About AutoShack AutoShack is a leading North American B2C online auto parts retailer selling direct-to-consumer through Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and our own e-commerce platform, while expanding our retail presence across North America. We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Director of Marketing to lead and execute our marketing strategy across all digital marketplace platforms and retail channels. Candidates without significant marketplace (Amazon, eBay, Walmart) marketing experience and Salesforce Marketing experience will not be considered. Position Overview The Director of Marketing will oversee all marketing functions for AutoShack, with a core focus on marketplace growth, customer acquisition, and brand presence. This is a hands-on, onsite leadership role responsible for strategy, execution, and performance marketing across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Salesforce Commerce, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the marketing strategy across all marketplace platforms (Amazon, eBay, Walmart) and AutoShacks eCommerce website. Oversee all marketing operations including SEO, PPC, digital advertising, content, email marketing, and analytics. Manage marketing budgets, ensuring high ROI and efficient customer acquisition strategies. Lead and mentor the marketing team to meet sales, margin, and brand goals. Optimize product listings, marketplace content, and advertising strategies across all channels. Utilize Salesforce Commerce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud for CRM, campaign management, customer data, and reporting. Work closely with sales, operations, and IT teams to align marketing strategies with business growth objectives. Analyze performance data, marketplace analytics, and marketing KPIs to drive decisions and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Minimum 7-10 years of marketing leadership experience in B2C e-commerce or retail. Proven success managing marketing operations across Amazon, eBay, and Walmart marketplaces this is mandatory. Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Commerce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud mandatory. Strong skills in PPC, SEO, advertising, and marketplace content optimization. Analytical and data-driven decision-maker with reporting and KPI tracking experience. Experience building and leading marketing teams. Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Work Environment This is a full-time, onsite position at AutoShacks Ottawa headquarters.
