Superintendent Penticton, BC Our client is a dynamic and experienced real estate developer with a passion for bringing project visions to life. Situated in Interior, BC, this developer has projects spanning across Canada. They have successfully developed over 650,000 square feet of real estate nationally in the last eight years and have ambitious plans for further expansion. Their projects range from $50M to $250M, focusing on residential, mixed-use, and commercial developments. Traditionally, they have opted to use external construction management partners but have been in the process of building out their own internal self-perform team in recent years. As such, they are seeking a Superintendent to oversee a multifamily development in Penticton. As Superintendent, you will be responsible for executing construction of Appelts upcoming Penticton Development. The building will have a 6-storey wood frame structure and feature 75 residential units. The role will be responsible for all site operations, including trade coordination, quality control, scheduling, cost control, safety administration, and regular project reporting. This is a demanding role which requires someone who is not only technically strong and resilient but also passionate about building and leads with this mentality. The plan is to continue to build out their self-perform team, and success in this role could lead to more leadership opportunities within the company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent for a General Contractor or Developer Builder within BC. Experience managing wood frame multifamily projects is preferred, though concrete multifamily project experience will also be considered. A technical education in Carpentry, Construction, Engineering, or a related field is an asset.
