The Role We are looking for an AI Architect to lead the development of AI/ML solutions for geoscience. You will design and implement AI models, including large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and neural networks, to process geophysical, geological, and geochemical data. Youll collaborate with software developers, scientists, and engineers to create innovative solutions for subsurface exploration. Key Responsibilities Develop AI/ML models to integrate and analyze geoscience data. Design and deploy LLMs, generative AI, and neural networks for predictive modeling. Mentor data scientists and drive innovation. Stay updated on AI/ML advancements and apply them to real-world challenges. First 90 Days Get up to speed on current AI/ML projects. Define a strategic AI/ML roadmap. Deliver early successes showcasing AIs impact. What Success Looks Like Rapid AI/ML Deployment: Quickly integrating AI/ML to enhance product capabilities. Project Leadership: Managing AI/ML projects from concept to execution. Must-Haves 10+ years in AI/ML or data science. High level expertise in neural networks, generative AI, LLMs, TensorFlow, PyTorch. Strong coding skills in Python, R, or Julia and cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proven leadership in delivering AI/ML solutions. Masters or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Nice-to-Haves Background in geoscience (geology, geophysics, geochemistry). Experience with geospatial tools (QGIS, ArcGIS) or 3D platforms (Leapfrog). Knowledge of CI/CD, uncertainty quantification, time-series analysis.
