As the executive director of development, you will have the opportunity to join the leadership of one of the most successful health foundations in the country and will work with a dedicated and successful team to ensure the long-term success of the foundation and the impactful programs we support. You will plan and implement the strategy for a comprehensive fundraising campaign that engages donors in supporting approved Providence Programs, offers fundraisers opportunities for donor engagement, and equips fundraisers and volunteers with current information, tactics and strategies to build the momentum of a successful comprehensive campaign. You will lead a team of major and leadership gift fundraisers to identify, qualify, cultivate and solicit 5-7 figure donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, while promoting a culture that is aligned with St. Pauls Foundations core practices. Other key responsibilities will include: Building a robust prospect development strategy to ensure a healthy pipeline Leading donor strategy and donor meetings related to Providence Programs Setting the strategic direction for engagement events and stewardship Developing business and workplans, including budgets for fundraising and operational activities Using available metrics and measures to drive the comprehensive campaign results Holding and strengthening critical relationship at Providence The Candidate As the ideal candidate, you bring a successful track record of major gift fundraising in a hospital, health care foundation, or academic development office and an alignment with the Foundations vision, mission, and values. You have demonstrated abilities in successfully developing and executing strategic and operational plans, directly and through a team. You have exceptional relational and leadership capabilities along with sound judgement and thoughtfulness in decision-making. You have a post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline. Additional qualities that round out your qualification include: Ability to contribute to and participate in a positive work environment with professionalism and a service-oriented attitude Highly effective and professional interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork A high degree of initiative, discernment, and resourcefulness Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills High computer-literacy with excellent MS Office skills and experience with Raisers Edge or a like database.
