Position#: 241113 Position: Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular) Position Type: Short-term Contract (2 months) No. of Positions: 1 Location: Greater Kitchener Area, ON Description It is an outstanding opportunity to join a fast-paced team and provide support to the Systems Applications Team. You''ll contribute to ongoing enhancements and improvements of current applications while developing new features to deliver a better experience for the customers. This role involves working across the full software development life cycle (SDLC), with a strong focus on maintaining and supporting internal custom solutions. Responsibilities: Develop, debug, and deploy applications. Work with key front-end and back-end technologies, including Angular 6+, Java 8+ with Spring Engage in full SDLC process, delivering constant technical support. Modernize legacy applications, including migrating from Struts to Spring Boot. Support upgrading front-end frameworks to Angular 8+. Perform maintenance on J2EE applications, deployed on WebSphere Application Server. Collaborate with leads and consultants to apply best practices. Qualifications: Extensive background in full SDLC using Agile methodologies. 7+ years of experience in full stack development with proficiency in Angular , Java , and Spring . Proven experience with databases, such as Postgres , Oracle, or SQL . Experience with version control (GitHub), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and deployment using Docker. Familiarity with ITIL practices, and effective use of Jira/Confluence for documentation. Proven ability to solve technical challenges and contribute to open-source projects. Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Bachelor''s degree in computer science, engineering, or IT-related field.
