Tourmaline Oil Corp. is a Canadian senior crude oil and natural gas exploration and production company. We are focused on long-term growth through an aggressive exploration, development, production, and acquisition program in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.PRIMARY FOCUSThe Production Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day organization and direction of all production related operations within an assigned geographic area to meet or exceed production goals in a safe, cost effective and environmentally sound manner. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise field level operations in conjunction with engineering and support staff in Calgary as well as co-ordinate various field personnel involved in tasks such as drilling, completions, pipeline, and facilities construction. Provide daily mentorship to team members with a clear display towards operational, technical, financial and safety excellence, as well as health, safety, and environmental responsibility. Report on daily production volumes. Review all invoices associated with the assigned geographical area. Ensure continuous production improvement through mentoring, coaching, and providing performance feedback to operations staff. Act as the primary contact for the company in the geographical area with regards to contractors, services, landowners, etc. as they pertain to daily operations. Ensure area compliance with all governmental regulatory bodies such as the AER and OH&S. Integrate corporate Health, Safety and Environment policies into the day-to-day routine of all operators and contractors in the field with the assistance of the companys Health, Safety and Environment officers; ensure regulatory compliance and corporate HSE policies are carried out to the highest standard. Co-ordinate and attend safety meetings. QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma.Post-secondary technical diploma is an asset.A minimum of ten (10) years of production operations experience. Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
