In this role you will provide compliance support to five restaurant brands located throughout North America. This is a temporary full-time position created to provide coverage during a maternity leave, with an anticipated start date in May 2025. The employment term is expected to last until approximately July 2026, with the potential to be extended; however, the duration may be subject to change based on operational requirements.LicensingRenew all existing licenses and coordinate license applications for new restaurant openings, managing dynamic deadlinesOversee the licensing inbox, distribute licensing mail to appropriate contactsMaintain the licensing monthly tracker project on Monday.com Retain digital files with copies of all licenses and permits, distribute physical licenses to locationsInsuranceHandle Canadian Workers Compensation accounts, including opening and closing accounts, assist Windley Ely with claims management and information gathering, and prepare analytics reports from the Windley Ely portal as requiredManage workers' compensation programs in the US, handle claims from inception to closure, facilitate the return of employees to work as soon as medically safe, support managers and injured employees post-injury, and manage account experience ratings system-wideReceive insurance correspondence and distribute accordinglyComplete COI requests, oversee claims management and reporting for all policiesAssist with annual insurance program policy renewals for the US & Canada Compliance AdministrationManage the global talent inbox, support foreign workers with various inquiries, be a resource to locations and General Managers. Keep track of Temporary Foreign Workers files, monitor the expiring SINs and follow up with General Managers for updates.
