Major ResponsibilitiesDetermine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirementsSet up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements)Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead)Cutting, grinding, and painting material as required Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gapsTest and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flawsMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyAdditional ResponsibilitiesAssisting in cleaning and prepping of workstations as needed Ensure regulated and proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing are wornEnsure equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properlyRead blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and proceduresAny additional tasks or duties assigned by Supervisor or Management team Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision Demonstrates a positive attitude and can work well in a team settingAbility to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items Ability to work in changing climate conditions Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new situations and work environmentsDiligent in adhering to all Workplace Safety measure while performing tasks and/or using workplace toolsWilling to comply with any additional training required by Bolton Railings Inc.Experience fabricating steel railings and stairsRequirementsExperience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures Experience in using electrical or manual tools Professional experience preferred in steel railings or steel stairs Additional informationAccommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.Wage Range- $25-$30 per hour Weekly Hours- 44Benefits- Upon completion of Probation
