Senior Operations Manager We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Operations Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our client''s third-party logistics (3PL) distribution facility. This individual will play a key leadership role in managing warehouse operations, optimizing logistics processes, improving performance metrics, and ensuring best-in-class service delivery to their clients. Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and develop a team of Operations Managers, Supervisors, and associates in a high-volume distribution environment. Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, inventory control, and shipping. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and client-specific service level agreements (SLAs). Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Analyze KPIs and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including transportation, customer service, HR, and IT to drive integrated operational performance. Serve as the primary operations contact for client partners, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded. Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies. Manage labor planning, budgeting, and capacity forecasting to support business needs. Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence within the facility. Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (Masters preferred). 7 years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in a 3PL environment. Strong knowledge of WMS systems, labor management tools, and inventory management best practices. Proven track record of managing high-performance teams and large-scale warehouse operations. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement practices is strongly preferred. Ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize competing demands.
