ROLE: Operations ManagerREPORTS TO: Director of TransportationLOCATION: Red Deer, ABWe are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Transportation Team! In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that equipment is operational and available, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and leading the development of a strong team of drivers. This includes offering advice, guidance, and support to help subordinates grow professionally. The ideal candidate will take a proactive, customer-focused approach to problem-solving while creating a productive and supportive work environment for all team members.Opportunities This is a very exciting time for transportation as we continue to grow and expand! The main challenge of this position is coordinating and conferring with professional staff to resolve operating problems and difficulties. You will also provide high-level support for several projects from an operational, financial, and resource standpoint. This includes sharing a common vision, encouraging them to develop their strengths, and inspiring them to do their best work at all times using effective communication skills.Meeting organizational goals including putting the right people in the right places.
