Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Lawyer to join our Corporate Commercial team. The successful candidatewill engage in a diverse range of legal work for clients that include large organizations, privately-ownedbusinesses, and start-ups. Responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to: Negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of corporate and commercialcontracts, including but not limited to, commercial leases, asset purchase agreements, sharepurchase agreements, and franchise agreements (both Franchisor and Franchisee); Commercial Lending and Transactions, including structuring and negotiating various types offinancing arrangements, such as asset-based financing, construction financing, equipmentfinancing, and syndicated loan arrangements. Managing commercial transactions, including but not limited to, asset purchase, sharepurchase, asset-based financing, construction financing, equipment financing, and syndicatedloan arrangements. Working on corporate reorganizations and financing transactions, including privateplacements. Managing divestitures and amalgamations. Experience in commercial real estate transactions, which will be an asset.Qualifications: A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in corporate and/or commercial law, Member in good standing with the Law Society of OntarioThe ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitmentto delivering high-quality legal services.
