If youre passionate about finding great talent and contributing to a dynamic team, wed love to hear from you!Primary Responsibilities:Handle the full recruitment process from writing job postings and screening resumes to interviewing, checking references, and negotiating offers.Work closely with managers to understand hiring needs and create tailored recruitment plans.Post jobs, define what skills and experience are needed, and find creative ways to attract great talent.Use various platforms and sourcing methods to connect with potential candidates.Design and use tools like phone screens, interview guides, assessments, and scorecards to help make great hiring decisions.Build a strong employer brand and ensure every candidate has a positive experience throughout the hiring process.Track recruitment metrics (like time to hire and retention rates) and use the data to improve hiring strategies.Create an awesome onboarding experience for new hires and stay connected with employees as they grow with the company.Stay up-to-date on the best practices in hiring and recruitment.Work on talent-focused projects to make the hiring and employee experience even better.What We're Looking For:Human Resource Certificate or education is an assetSolid understanding of recruiting best practices and how to find top talent.A proactive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic.The ability to assess candidates and make smart hiring decisions.Excellent communication skills youre great at building relationships and working with others.Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.A positive mindset and a knack for problem-solving.Great attention to detail, especially in written communication.Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.A good understanding of employment law, Alberta Employment Standards, and Human Rights legislation.The ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.Key Achievements Over the Past Five YearsRecognized twice as the Fastest Growing Brokerage in CanadaNamed a Top Insurance EmployerAwarded as a 5-Star Brokerage
