We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. If you are highly motivated, can easily form rapport with different types of teammates, and can catch on quickly when learning new computer software - we hope that you will review this job posting and apply.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of Manufacturing (including: welding, metal finishing, and industrial painting), as well as Shipping.Maintain high-quality manufacturing standards and ensure all products meet specifications.Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.Humbly work alongside production workers when extra manpower is needed.Lead and motivate a team of 5-15 workers, onboarding new members as needed.Identify cost-saving opportunities in labor, materials, and production processes.Implement and oversee quality control measures to minimize defects and rework.Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and project deadlines.Monitor workflow efficiency and identify areas for process improvement.Ensure proper allocation of materials, equipment, and labor to meet production targets.Purchasing for production inventory and suppliesMaintain correct inventory levels for parts and finished goods, coordinated with sales demand.Facilitate regular production meetings and monitor production loads to review resource needs.Recognize employees accomplishments and contributions towards the business KPIs.Ensure that expectations of product quality are communicated and monitored by coaching employees.Collaborating with other key functional areas of the business on a daily basis and in weekly meetings.Oversee/perform maintenance on key production equipment.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of related experience in metal fabrication manufacturing.Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a production or plant management role.Holds CWB weld tickets for GMAW and/or MCAW processes, with preference given to individuals with Supervisor level certification.Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication processes, equipment, and blueprint reading.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.This position offers competitive pay based on experience.
