We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator with a foundational understanding of Food Safety and experience with BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standards) and ISO standards. The ideal candidate will support the organization as we transition to a new production facility. You will be fulfilling customer requests and providing the deliverables to the Sales and Customer Service departments in a timely manner.Responsibilities:Responsible for providing requests for information to internal and external parties under controlled conditions of the management program.Completion of customer questionnaires relating to quality and food safetyCoordinating external documentation requests in a timely mannerCompleting forms from external stakeholdersUpdating or reformatting documents where required to ensure they meet requirements of the internal quality program.Work closely with Sales, Customer Service and other departments for coordination and compliance.Support the day-to-day operations of the QA/QC departmentConduct lab sample tests to support Plant Chemists.Assist outbound logistics by mailing samples and other materials to customersOther administrative duties related to the transition as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration or a related fieldBRC food safety and/or Quality experience is considered an asset.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Thorough understanding relevant regulatory frameworks and agencies, as well as compliance, and best practicesSuperior communication skills with internal and external customersExperience in quality documentation such as procedures and formsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Takes initiative to troubleshoot and resolve problemsComputer proficiency including but not limited to MS Word and Excel, willingness, and ability to learn new software
