You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and develop procurement strategies that align with the company's goals.Responsibilities:Procurement Management:Assist in overseeing the clinics procurement processes to ensure smooth operations and business continuity, maintaining an up-to-date sourcing management framework.Help eliminate inefficient procurement practices within the organization while identifying cost-saving opportunities and economies of scale. Provide analysis, recommendations, and financial implications.Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to optimize cost efficiencies, partnerships, and volume-based benefits. Ensure proper documentation of all procurement-related records.Adhere to established RFP/RFQ procedures and promote compliance throughout the organization.Keep staff informed about updates to procurement policies, procedures, and vendor relationships.Conduct purchasing activities in alignment with broader public sector procurement directives and organizational guidelines.Offer guidance to teams or departments looking to establish new vendor relationships, collaborating with management for operational needs.Maintain precise procurement records and track all related activities.Organize and manage purchasing files, reports, and price lists.Address supplier issues such as cost overruns, quality concerns, backorders, and delayed deliveries.Oversee inventory counts and provide regular reports to support decision-making.Monitor and track purchase orders, coordinating necessary adjustments to minimize operational disruptions.Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure continuous supply availability.Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and prevent overstocking.Ensure relevant employees understand the clinics procurement and insurance policies and procedures.Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed.Insurance Management:Oversee the clinics insurance requirements to support business continuity.Ensure insurance policies align with the organizations risks and operational needs.Manage policy renewals, negotiate terms with insurance brokers, and identify cost-saving opportunities.Maintain accurate insurance records for audit and compliance purposes while supporting special initiatives as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a non-profit and/or health care setting.Knowledge of healthcare procurement regulations, compliance, and software tools.Knowledge of and experience complying with the Broader Public Sector Accountability Act regarding procurement processes.Understand of tendering processes, such as: RFQ, RFP, and RFI.Experience in building and managing supplier and broker relationships.Experience negotiating policies and identifying insurance requirements to mitigate organizational risk and responsibility.Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies.Demonstrated experience in budget management.
