We are searching for a Director of Safety & Compliance for this National carrier located in Calgary. Approximately 600 drivers & owner-operators located in a dozen terminals across Canada plus one in the US.This position will report to the Managing Director with a team of 2 Regional Safety Managers(direct reports) plus an S&C Supervisor in each facility along with 3-4 admin support staff. Total staff count of about 15 people.A strong industry leader with the ability to find the root cause of incidents and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences. A proven ability to prioritize safety throughout the company and hold individuals accountable for unsafe actions.
