Environmental Health, Safety & Specialist - Manufacturing *CRSP preferred* EHSSpecialist Metals manufacturing Metal CNC Bending Cutting , Welding **Certified Registered Safety Professional Preferred** Location: St. Marys Kitchener, ON area Salary 65-85K plus Benefits Full time permanentWork on site-5 days a week Our client is a leading custom fabricator metal processing cutting bending welding manufacturing plant and have a job open for Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to work within the E H&S program and be fully responsible. The job is located in St. Marys Kitchener, ON area and will need to onsite 5 days a week . The candidate must have experience with Environmental health & Safety within manufacturingEnvironmental Health & Safety Specialist will be fully responsible for the Occupational health & Safety, to ensure plant-wide compliance to policy and procedures laid out by corporate governance, Municipal and Provincial legislation and to the employers Health & Safety policy. You will conduct inspections on the manufacturing floor and premises, identify deviations, conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement corrective action. You will work closely with site leaders and Plant Management for any revision required in SOPs and Best Practices, work with WSIB for any claims, investigations and back to work programs. You will work closely with front line associates, deliver training, lead projects on H&S and report on all KPIs related to H&S to the senior leadership teams. This is a Roll-Up-the-Sleeve environment with who loves to walk the plant floor and works well with people at all levels of the organization to implement change and maintain a culture of Safety first. Environmental Health & Safety Specialistwill have at least 3-4 years experience in manufacturing (MUST have), ideally fully responsible for filing claims for WSIB, leading the return to work program, plant inspections, accident investigation and compliance to safety policy and procedures. University degree or diploma in Industrial Safety, Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
