Our client is a well known General Contractor in Campbell River looking to add to their team!They're flexible for the best long term fit, but Canadian residential and/or commercial construction experience is a must. Typical job duties are as follows:Coordinate construction projects from conception through to completionWork with site crews under the direction of a Project Manager to look after day to day responsibilities on a projectReview project plans and specifications to ensure compliance throughout theconstruction processDevelop and maintain accurate spec sheets and distribute updated copies to the teamExecute procurement activities and work on coordinating logistical challenges Perform site visits and collect necessary project dataHost sites meetings and distribute meeting minutes to the teamEnsure project documents are updated regularly on project management softwarePrepare project progress reports for clients and management, making adjustments as neededCollaborate with Project Managers to manage budgets, estimates, and change ordersCollaborate with Project Managers and site crews to control and manage labor, expenses, assets and resources on a projectManage vendors, subcontractors, and site staffMonitor project quality and ensure work is in compliance with Company quality standards Ensure quality and safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all timesFill out and issue subcontractor contracts Provide support and administrative assistance to Project ManagersParticipate in conflict resolution for all project related issuesFile WCB Notice on Projects as needed
