Business AnalystJob Type: Contract- 1 YearPrimary Location: RemoteThe Consultant will be responsible for providing business systems support and provide expertise in the business support areas under the direction of the Senior Manager.Requirement Details:Key ResponsibilitiesProvide business systems support and provide expertise in the business support areas Provide analysis expertise in developing and deploying business systems enhancements as requested by the user community Assist in the coordination of the production support activities for our financial applications Support QA efforts including unit test and production deploymentHelp apply best practices of Agile methodology within the development team as requiredParticipate in application support cycle as part of a Tier 2 support teamDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external counterpartsOther related activities and deliverables, as requiredRequired Skills & ExperienceUniversity Degree or College Diploma in business administration, finance, computer science or any other field 15 (fifteen) years as a Business Analyst in various organizations 5 (five) years of demonstrated experience working with data management applications5 (five) years of demonstrated experience in production support activities with end-usersDemonstrated experience with backlog grooming and prioritizationDemonstrated relevant work experience in application development and systems integration as a business analystDemonstrated experience working with an external vendor providing a COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) toolDemonstrated knowledge of structured analysis techniques and development tools as applied to business processes, automated systems and workflow analysisDemonstrated ability to make sound decisions and recommend appropriate solutions by gathering information across various platformsAdditional RequirementsDemonstrated experience working within a financial market environment Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification in Business Analysis (CCBA) or other relevant professional designationsDemonstrated experience working with S&P Global Market Intelligence Enterprise Data Management (formerly Markit EDM)French language would be an assetNot for you?
