Responsibilities:Performs job responsibilities while fully and effectively participating in all relevant company programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives;Works closely with the Senior Detailers and Checkers on all aspects of a project.Identifies and reports any contract discrepancies and problems found to the appropriate superior;Models all facets of moderately complex structures and input standard and generic types of connection;Produces clear, accurate and well laid out erection drawings;Identifies and challenges connection design anomalies and inconsistencies;Edits most types of assemblies;Able to run and issue model generated reports and camdata.Qualifications:3 years' Experience in the use of Tekla Structures is required;A post-secondary diploma from a structural engineering drafting and technology course or an equivalent is preferred and a willingness to study further;Minimum of 3 years experience in the Structural Steel Construction Industry.A good understanding of technical structural drafting terminology is required;Working knowledge and understanding of fabrication and assembly processes;Have a good understanding of welding symbols and procedures;Must be proficient in the use of a computer and Office software;Ability and willingness to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment;
