About UsMyo Palate is a biotechnology company developing sustainable meat products by cultivating stem cells to produce meat without raising or slaughtering animals.About the RoleWe are looking for a Bioanalytical Scientist to join our team and lead analytical efforts focused on characterizing cell culture environments. This role is central to our development of robust, scalable systems for cultivated meat production.You will design and execute experiments to quantify media metabolites and analyze biological systems using advanced instrumentation. This includes working with HPLC, mass spectrometry, and Raman spectroscopy. The role involves close collaboration with cell biology teams to support experiments in microbioreactors and bioreactors, as well as working alongside data scientists to build and refine chemometric models.The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail oriented, and comfortable working across both analytical and biological domains. Applications without a cover letter will be disregarded.ResponsibilitiesConduct analytical experiments using HPLC, mass spectrometry, and Raman spectroscopy to quantify metabolitesCulture mammalian cells for analytical experiments and maintain consistent growth conditionsSupport experiments in microbioreactors and benchtop bioreactors in collaboration with cell biology teamsDesign and execute experiments that contribute to chemometric model developmentMaintain accurate and detailed experimental records and lab documentationPrepare and label common lab reagents and manage chemical inventoryCollaborate with data scientists on analysis of large datasets and chemometric modelingEnsure compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and good laboratory practicesPresent findings in team meetings and contribute to internal method developmentAssist with troubleshooting analytical workflows and instrumentationIdentify and implement process improvements for data quality and lab efficiencyQualificationsRequiredMasters degree or higher in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related disciplineHands-on experience with HPLC, mass spectrometry, or Raman spectroscopyExperience in constructing chemometric models and knowledge of chemometric analysisExperience culturing mammalian cellsStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational skillsFamiliarity with scientific documentation and data integrity standardsAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional teamComfortable working with large datasets and interfacing with computational toolsSelf-motivated, with strong time management and problem-solving abilitiesPreferredExperience culturing stem cells or working with bioreactor systemsProgramming proficiency in Python, R, or similar for data analysisExperience in assay development, validation, or statistical modelingExposure to metabolite profiling, media analysis, or bioprocess monitoringMyo Perks and BenefitsComprehensive health benefits package.
