A prominent manufacturing company specializing in producing high quality packaging is seeking a skilled Production Scheduler to join its team in Brampton. This is an important role within a well-established organization known for its commitment to efficiency, precision, and customer satisfaction.The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating daily production schedules, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintaining smooth operations by collaborating with various departments, including Customer Service, Production, and Shipping.There is significant potential for growth and advancement within the company for the right candidate. Production Scheduler Role Details: Competitive base salary at $50,000 per year * (based on experience) Monday to Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Annual bonus after one year of service Benefits:100% employer-paid medical and dental coverage after 3-month probation Company pension plan Two weeks paid vacation Weekly payroll Production Scheduler Responsibilities: Create, manage, and analyze production schedules to ensure customer orders are accurately entered and processed. Monitor production processes to ensure deadlines are met and deliveries are on time. Resolve production or material issues promptly and efficiently, prioritizing based on urgency. Track and record critical production data, such as trim and web width. Work with the Customer Service team and other departments to address order-related concerns and expedite solutions when necessary. Manage orders received via various channels (remote order entry, fax, email) and ensure production copies are generated. Maintain accurate and organized records of production copies and customer documents. Collaborate with production, shipping, receiving, and maintenance teams to ensure timely deliveries. Production Scheduler Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of experience in production scheduling or a similar role Post-secondary education preferred Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent analytical, planning, and multitasking abilities High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments Familiarity with production scheduling software (e.g., EPS or similar platforms) Ability to manage priorities and work well under pressure Strong time management skills and the ability to focus on accuracy
