The company has a large training fleet as well as a senior management team recognized as leaders in the aviation field.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Class 1 flight instructor for a full-time on-site role working alongside the Manager Flight Operations. There is potential for future growth opportunities within the organization for the right candidate. The Assistant Manager Flight Operations will be responsible for supervision of day-to-day flight training operations/programs including but not limited to:Pre-solo, 10 hour checks and preflight testing as required at pre-solo, PPL & CPL level including assessment checks.Work with instructors on corrective training plansConduct flight instructor ratings and work on the company's Class 4 Instructor Rating programAssist with orientation of new instructor hires prior to being on lineAssist in CADOR and SMS follow upAssist in preparation for onsite inspections or audits by Transport CanadaQualificationsClass 1 InstructorExperience in teaching Instructor CandidatesPrior supervisory and management experience a definite assetExcellent supervision, communication and organizational skillsCapability to work in a fast-paced aviation environmentMust be safety orientedAll aviation-related certifications and/or licenses must be validMust be located in a commutable distance to Delta, B.C.
