They are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, reliable person to join their dynamic mechanic team in their shop as a Heavy Duty Mechanic. They are committed to provide top notch service and products to their clients in the heavy equipment sector. Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on heavy equipment Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and system checks Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders in a timely manner Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and implement corrective actions Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Collaborate with other mechanics and maintenance staff to ensure minimal downtime Order parts and materials as needed Stay up to date with industry standards, tools, and best practices Qualifications: Red seal ticket preferred or strong 4thyear apprentice Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics a must Ability to work independently without supervision Valid drivers license Benefits: Health, dental insurance Overtime opportunities Bonuses RRSP matching On-site parking Company events
