Global Markets, Global Equities Structured Equities Trading, Canadian Equity Structured Product We are looking for a Senior VP to join the BMO Structured Equity Derivatives Trading desk. The ideal candidate will have experience in structuring, modelling, and trading equity derivatives products and a passion for financial markets. Reporting to the Managing Director of the trading desk, the equity derivatives trader will be responsible for managing a trading book, pricing and structuring equity linked note products, and working with the broader team to manage the overall notes portfolio. In addition, the candidate is expected to communicate with the Quantitative Modelling team on pricing and modelling of derivative products. We are looking for a candidate that has a thorough understanding of the trading process and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills Advanced programming skills in C#, Python, SQL. High degree of knowledge in derivatives pricing and modelling. Ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders (sales, structuring, quant team) to understand and resolve issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience / Education Financial industry professional with 5-7 years of experience running a derivatives trading book. Undergraduate degree in a quantitative or technical area (i.e. math, science, computer science, finance, economics, etc.). Master's degree in Financial Mathematics, Financial Engineering or a highly quantitative program is preferred. Salary: Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.
