The Director of Marketing assumes a pivotal role in shaping my client's trajectory and driving its growth.Reporting to the CMO, this role will lead customer and consumer brand strategy and execution, demand generation to drive basket growth, and internal communications.Drawing upon strong skills in data interpretation and insight translation, the Marketing Director formulates strategies and oversees the development and execution of plans to fuel demand growth, Same Store Sales (SSS) expansion, and the conversion of new accounts. With a deep understanding of Marketing Communications full funnel strategy, planning, and execution, this individual leverages their expertise to guide my clients' brand and customer/consumer relationship evolution. The Director also oversees the creation of impactful sales materials and assets through close collaboration with the Sales organization and high-impact internal communications via strong partnerships with both HR and Operations, ensuring all communications meet needs and reflect our brand promise.Beyond functional duties, the Director of Marketing takes the helm in essential cross-functional processes like Budget and Planning, instilling best-practice thinking to refine and enhance both current and emerging processes.What you should expect:Revenue Growth Leadership: Shape and execute marketing initiatives that drive growth, in alignment with business goals and values.Customer-Centric Approach: Utilize consumer insights, sales data and market research to inform brand-building programs, ensuring they resonate with customers.Manage a team of consumer and customer marketing managers to bring programming to life with efficacy and pace.Sales Enablement: Oversee the creation of compelling sales materials and assets that effectively showcase products and services, enhancing customer engagement and converting new accounts.Performance Analysis: Monitor the performance of marketing initiatives, offering data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Budget Management: Take responsibility for marketing budgets across various initiatives, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to maximize ROI.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross functional team members, ensuring alignment and success in delivering against key priorities.Education, Training & Qualifications Bachelor's or Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 10+ years experience in marketing management roles, with a successful track record of brand building, demand generation and organic growth marketing.Experience in service industry and/or B2B2C as assetDemonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of direct and indirect reports.Strong communication skills and experiencing in presenting to sr. leadership and large employee groups.What you should bring:Innovative & Creative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and critically, generating innovative solutions to complex marketing challenges.Consumer & Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to easily delineate and activate against the needs of both the customer and consumer.
