Construction Knowledge and Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of construction practices, with proficiency in interpreting drawings, specifications, Preliminary site reports and building codes across all disciplines. Familiarity with construction management software (MS Office; Sage is a plus). Project Management and Organization: Extensive knowledge in project management principles, including organization and coordination of on-site activities, task prioritization, and efficient workflow management to meet deadlines. Safety and Risk Management: Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Communication and Client Relations: Strong communication skills for effective information exchange among senior management, subcontractors, on-site teams, consultants, and architects, along with a commitment to maintaining positive client relationships.Key Responsibilities:Support the Project Manager in overseeing site operations and logistics. Foster positive communication and relationships with clients, colleagues, consultants and subcontractors.Collaborate with the companys Chief Safety Officer to ensure compliance with all safety policies and maintain thorough documentation. Review all project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings. Maintain and update project records, including RFIs, changes, and as-built documents. Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and material protection. Manage site setup, including preparation of the site setup plan, completion of the Project Start-up checklist, and verification of the Building Permit. Prepare daily reports, track action items, and present the Look Ahead schedule during bi-weekly trade meetings. Coordinate building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and field reviews. Conduct daily site assessments for quality control. Attend consultant and project management meetings. Strive to maintain and/or improve the construction schedule.Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop the master project schedule. Provide input and an action plan in response to any schedule revisions.
