We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of a fast-paced industrial facility. This role requires a proactive leader with at least 8 years of experience in a maintenance management role, implementing best practices in an industrial or manufacturing environment.The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 10 employees, including a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Planner, Machinist, Millwrights, and Electricians. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, experience in packaging and manufacturing, and expertise working with technical teams and complex processes such as blending/batching, filling, and packaging equipment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities, ensuring efficient workforce management, shift coverage, and administrative processes (e.g., timesheets, logs, downtime reports).Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team, including maintenance supervisors, electricians, millwrights, machinists, and parts coordinators.Recruit, onboard, and train new staff to ensure the maintenance team operates effectively.Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels while balancing budget and expenses.Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, OEMs, and service providers, overseeing contracts, procurement, invoicing, and on-site work.Plan and schedule preventative maintenance (PMs), repairs, and overhauls, minimizing production downtime.Collaborate with Production and Scheduling teams to align maintenance activities with operational needs.Support emergency repairs and routine services, ensuring building and facility equipment are maintained to operational standards.Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment, providing support for capital and engineering projects.Monitor and manage department budgets, providing reports on expenses, services, inspections, and downtime metrics.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 8 years of maintenance leadership experience in an industrial, packaging, or manufacturing environment.Proven ability to lead and develop maintenance teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, mechanical/electrical systems, and automation processes.Experience managing preventative maintenance programs, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.Ability to work cross-functionally with production, scheduling, and engineering teams to optimize plant performance.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.This is an exciting opportunity for a driven maintenance professional looking to take on new challenges in a dynamic industrial setting.
