Senior Network AdministratorFull-Time PermanentSalary: $100-105kLocation: Hybrid in Windsor, ON (open to candidates in Toronto, ON as well)IT Data/Voice Network Administration work focuses on planning the network implementation, determining physical and logical layouts, installing, configuring, and maintaining ICT data and voice networks including: Meeting end user needs by ensuring the uptime, performance, resource availability, and security of the networks managed within established budgets and operational guidelinesDetermining and diagramming the physical layout which illustrates the physical location of and the connections between devices participating on the networkDetermining and diagramming the logical layout which documents the communication protocols (e.g., IP, TCP, POP3, etc.) and type of service/application (email, file transfer, web browsing, etc.) for each segment of the networkAutomating routine tasks using scripting and writing basic computer programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Experience needed with the following:8-10+ years of experience in network administration including both IT Data & Voice NetworkHands-on experience with Meraki technologyHands-on experience with Cisco TechnologyHands-on experience with Checkpoint technologyExperience with Network ArchitectureCompensation: $100,000 to $105,000 per year annual salary.
