About the Role:The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring quality assurance objectives during the Pre-PDI and PDI process.At Fitzrovia, we pride ourselves on being an entrepreneurial and innovative organization, which makes this role well suited for a candidate looking to roll up their sleeves, wear multiple hats and contribute to all aspects of real estate investment and development.Key Responsibilities:Monitor QA objectives during project stages with a primary focus on pre-PDI, PDI and turnover stages of both suites and common elementIdentifying possible issues affecting building quality and mitigating systemic failures through quality checks, consultant reviews and signoffs, and regular communication with site staffInputting and track deficiencies across all stages of post construction through use of ProcoreSchedule and follow-up with trades and Handyman to ensure all deficiencies are completed in anexpeditious fashion.Review all contract drawings and specifications pertaining to finishing trades to ensureFitzrovia standards have been implementedExecute QA program of underground, amenities, suites, common element, and back-of-houseLiaise with on-site construction staff to ensure Fitzrovia finishing standards are being met orexceededOther duties as assigned by the construction teamQualifications and Experiences:At least 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably at site.Knowledge of construction processes, including phases, pre-construction and construction is mandatory.Ability to read and interpret design and construction related documents and drawings.Working experience with Procore is an asset.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.Understanding of Ontario Building Code (OBC) is required.Knowledge of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities (AODA) an asset.Why Fitzrovia:Fitzrovia is a vertically integrated development and asset manager focused on Class-A and vintage-style apartment buildings across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Montreal.
