About the Role:Fitzrovia is seeking to hire an Investments Associate to join our investments team. The candidate will work closely with senior members of the company and actively participate in and contribute to all facets of the business including new acquisitions, development, construction and property and asset management. The candidate will gain exposure to all aspects of the real estate development business. Within a short period of time, a successful candidate will truly assume the position of a developer and have a strong impact on the strategy and growth trajectory of the business.At Fitzrovia, we pride ourselves on being an entrepreneurial and innovative organization, which makes this role well suited for a candidate looking to roll up their sleeves, wear multiple hats and contribute to all aspects of real estate investment and development.As we are a highly collaborative team, this role is on-site full-time, and the successful candidate will be required to work in the office Monday to Friday.Key Responsibilities:Assess potential investments through the preparation of detailed financial models and market research;Complete data-driven analysis to assist in major decision-making including financings, rezoning, design development, construction tendering and lease-up strategy;Assist with the closing process including review of due diligence material and coordination with internal resources and third-party consultants and stakeholders;Assist with securing construction financing and permanent debt including the preparation of lender packages, valuations, budgets and due diligence materials;Assist in the creation and review of legal agreements (letters of intent, credit agreements, purchase agreements, etc.)Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and best practices across all business verticals;Work closely with development, construction, asset and property management and accounting to ensure all team members are working together and towards common goals;Assist in the research and evaluation of new business strategies and verticals;Provide sound business judgement and recommendations on a variety of unstructured tasks.Qualifications and Experiences:Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, finance or a similar field from a top-tier school; 3-5 years working at an investment bank, private equity company or real estate firm;Advanced analytical skills with expert working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Excellent and effective written and oral communication and presentation skills; Superior organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet time sensitive deadlines; Strong work ethic with the flexibility to routinely work outside of core hours as business needs dictate; Critical thinker and highly analytical with good judgment; Entrepreneurial self-starter with an ability to work independently and synergistically in a lean and horizontal corporate structure; and Real estate experience is not required but a keen interest in real estate is crucial.
