Job descriptionAQUOSIS is a rental and sales provider of specialized Dewatering and Pumping Equipment for all fluids handling and transfer applications. While mostly known for our construction dewatering and temporary bypass pumping related services, we also offer a complete comprehensive line of pumping equipment which includes diesel, hydraulic and electric powered centrifugal, electric submersibles, light towers, and diesel generators available for rent or sale. Aquosis also offers specialized services related to discharge filtration equipment, making us one of the most comprehensive suppliers of services to the construction, municipal, industrial, and mining sectors of the industry.This position is based on a 50-hour work week and participates in shift work as required and dictated by the requirements of the shop operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and train shop staff and facilities in safe, organized and efficient manner.Communicate and coordinate on a regular basis to prepare for upcoming fleet requirements to our customers (including equipment inventory, delivery and returns).Follow all SOPs for equipment/material handling, testing, release and return processesPrepare and test equipment and components to be shipped to a project/client.Ensure all paperwork procedures and computer data entry and reporting requirements are maintained and performed as per company policy (work orders, delivery and return slips etc).Ship and receive all goods verifying quantities and quality received or being shipped against information showing on packing slips as well as return slips for companys own rented equipment.Inspect, maintain, and restock equipment returned from a project/client.Daily handling of shipping and receiving of pumps and pumping accessories as well as generators and specialized pumping systems related to dewatering as well as discharge filtration equipment.Perform inspections of fleet equipment for possible damage and report and document damages accordingly.Quality control and testing of all equipment prior to being released for rent or sale.Conduct regular cycle inventory counts of all equipment as well as pumping accessories to maintain accurate equipment inventory tracking.Prepare purchase orders for managers' approval for non-inventory items required (i.e. Consumables, tooling, safety and environmental products etc.).Respond to and coordinate activities related to emergencies after hours (24/7).Other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Skills:Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Quality Management, or a related field an asset.Experience: 3+ years in inventory management, quality control, or a similar supervisory role.Strong knowledge of inventory systems (ERP, WMS) and quality control processes.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to lead and train a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/quality management software.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
