From suites and concessions, to high-profile events, we are passionate about delivering the most memorable food and beverage experiences for our partners and guests.The Director of Operations (Sports/Entertainment) will lead the operation and the people responsible for all food and beverage offerings to thousands of guests that visit our locations every year.Now, if you were to come on board as our Director of Operations (Sports/Entertainment), wed ask you to do the following for us:Build and maintain a strong working partnership with all stakeholders, focused on fan engagement and delivery of memorable guest experiences.Elevate operational execution, through team engagement and best in class service delivery.Provide strong leadership, direction, and decision making ability to direct reporting managers.Drive financial profitability through department and line of business reporting, weekly, and monthly reporting, yearly budgeting, as well as monitoring daily spending.Operational oversight, including control of all inventories, product cost, cash handling and purchasing. Implement cost controls as needed to achieve positive financial results.Act as a liaison with partner's operational team, Compass team as needed to ensure next level operational performance.Develop and recommend menus, promotions and programs in accordance with Compass standards.Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, subcontractors and Compass associates.Ensure security, safety, and sanitation standards are achieved and follows and enforces responsible alcohol service policies.Recruit, hire, train, mentor and lead management reports as well as hourly associates. Heres how well know you are the best fit:A minimum of 8 years Food and Beverage Management experience at a Director of Operations/General Manager level in a sports and entertainment atmosphere. Experience managing a high-volume Food & Beverage operationBudgeting, forecasting, sales experience preferredAble to communicate effectively with management team, guests and associates by speaking and comprehending English. English reading, writing, math and computer skills requiredStrong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and motivate staffAbility to maintain organization in a changing environmentExhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadershipAvailability to work regular extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates.
