Job Description

This is a hybrid role tied to our Marks Toronto studio in Etobicoke which requires working in office 3 days per week.Job SummaryThe Programme Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating multiple high-level projects or programmes within Marks, ensuring that they align with the agencys broader business goals. Providing leadership and acting as the operational backbone across key account(s) or brands, the Programme Manager manages cross-functional workflows, will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to drive efficiency, collaboration, and seamless execution across a portfolio of work.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & ExecutionOversee and manage a portfolio of branding, design, and creative projects/accounts from inception to completionDevelop programme timelines, resource plans, and budgets to ensure smooth deliveryOwns all gates, risk and commercial controls to run the accounts they are accountable for, for best utilization, workflows, and delivery.Own and track margins and optimization solutions for the accounts/programmes they are accountable for, ultimately delivering to the target VCMTrack programme/account performance in partnership with the PMO, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Collaborate closely with the PMO to ensure programmes align with organizational goals and governance standards.Maintain data integrity within project management tools like Workfront, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with organizational objectives.Team CollaborationBuild strong relationships with client service counterpart to understand account needs and ensure programme alignment.Facilitate clear and consistent communication between internal teams, external partners, and clients.Lead account reviews, and status updates to provide visibility on progress and potential challenges.Ensure teams have clear priorities, timelines, and expectations for project deliverables.Support team development by identifying skills gaps and ensuring the right expertise is in place.Client Relationship ManagementAct as the key point of contact for senior stakeholders and clients across delivery of multiple projects/programmes across accounts.Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, providing updates on timelines, deliverables, and any potential risks.Manage client expectations, ensuring alignment with account/programme objectives and agency capabilities.Collaborate with account directors to identify upsell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.Budget & Resource ManagementOwn programme budgets, ensuring accounts are delivered profitable, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.Monitor programme/account costs, margins, and financial forecasts, making recommendations for efficiencies.Work with finance and account teams to ensure accurate reporting and invoicing.Track resource allocation across accounts, flagging potential bottlenecks or capacity issues.Ensure all account-related expenses and hours are accurately recorded and reported.Risk Management & Problem SolvingIdentify potential risks and develop contingency plans to address them.Troubleshoot programme/account challenges and implement timely, effective solutions.Ensure that programmes/accounts comply with agency processes and quality standards.Process ImprovementContribute to the refinement of project management processes and tools to improve efficiency and scalability.Mentor project managers and team members on best practices and workflow optimization.Implement PMO methodologies and best practices throughout the project lifecycle to ensure consistency and quality.Requirements8+ years of relevant programme pillar experienceTeam/People Management experienceExperience in managing portfolios of branding, design, and creative projects/accounts from inception to completionExperience in managing FMCG, CPG, or Retail client accountsThe pay range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 CAD.We are committed to ensuring equal opportunity in all aspects of employment, including recruitment.
