Currently we are seeking a Program Coordinator.The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of both domestic and international programs, webinars, and workshops. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for event coordination, with exceptional communication and administrative skills.Reporting to the Director, Market Support & Training, your primary responsibilities will include:Coordinating activities for successful incoming and outgoing program execution, including, participant registration, agenda preparation, and logistical arrangements.Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate program details, including communication with interpreters, making venue arrangements, and providing participant support.Organizing and executing logistics for webinars, including presenter coordination, translation/interpretation, event setup, and administrative support and troubleshooting.Collaborating with CC Communications staff to disseminate program information through various channels, including the organization's website.Facilitating communication with trade commissioners, interpreters, vendors, and other external stakeholders as needed for program execution.Maintaining program supplies, conducting research for alternative event hosting, and contributing to the continuous improvement of program-related processes.Providing support to the Senior Program Coordinator as required.Position Requirements: Strong administrative, organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience coordinating events, programs, or training workshops, in-person and virtually. Intermediate computer skills MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Proficiency in different virtual event platforms (Zoom, PheedLoop) and basic audiovisual troubleshooting. Ability to manage budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and track program expenses. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills and a proven ability to be resourceful. Must be able to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Ability to be flexible in working hours and be available to work outside of regular business hours. Fluency in additional languages to English would be an asset. Knowledge of agriculture or related industries is an asset.This is a full-time, six-month term position, with the potential for extension.
