We have an immediate opening for a Field Service Specialist. The successful candidate will liaise with customers and diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems on a variety of construction, forestry, and mining equipment.Your key responsibilities are:Travel (approximately 20%) to international and North American customer sitesCoordinate warranty and service related issues with customersManage parts and service concernsLiaise with local onsite mechanics and conduct trainingAssist local onsite mechanics and perform troubleshooting and repairConduct equipment inspections prior to shippingRespond to customer inquiries and concerns electronically and diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to determine the root cause of problems.Troubleshoot with floor staff during fabrication processWrite maintenance and job reports to company requirements; use computer and job maintenance software for specific applications.JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSAt least 3 years heavy equipment repair experience (i.e. dozers, loaders, excavators, skid steers, rock truck, graders, etc.)421A license (heavy equipment) or related trade certification an assetTraining experience an assetStrong diagnostic skillsStrong communication and customer service skillsValid G drivers license and clean driving recordAbility to travel internationallyWhat The Employer Offers:Opportunities to grow and learn within a team environment in a sustainable and growing economic environment.Competitive compensation packageFull benefits packageRelocation assistance
