Edon Management is looking for a Contract Director to lead a dynamic team in Red Deer and the surrounding area . Youll oversee smooth operations and drive the successful execution of a major contract. In this role, youll be at the heart of all contract requirements related to building operations and corporate matters, making a meaningful impact every day. Success in this position comes from strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to connect with people at all levels from team members to clients and stakeholders. Youll be the key point of contact, ensuring expectations are met, challenges are addressed, and relationships are built on trust. You will also communicate company direction and strategic plans to operations and contract management teams , ensuring alignment and driving performance. A strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment will find great success here Your expertise in facilities/property management, contract administration, and client relations will help drive success. Finding the best ways to communicate, collaborate, and problem-solve will be a big part of your daily work, making each day dynamic and rewarding. To be considered, you must have an RPA, CFM, or FMA designation (or equivalent experience). The position is based in Red Deer office while leading a dynamic team in the surrounding area. Who are we? Explore more about us and watch the WHO WE ARE video: or visit our website Core Responsibilities: Lead & Support Teams Guide managers and supervisors in handling their building portfolios, ensuring smooth operations and strong leadership. Communicate & Execute Strategy Share company direction and strategic plans with operations and contract management teams to keep everyone aligned. Manage Budgets & Control Costs Oversee contract budgets, control expenditures, and find ways to improve efficiencies while maximizing value for clients. Build Strong Relationships Work closely with clients, vendors, and employees to maintain positive partnerships and ensure top-tier service. Project Oversight Ensure client projects are managed professionally, oversee specifications, and support teams in identifying and addressing building maintenance needs. Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement Identify building deficiencies, suggest improvements, and implement best practices to enhance service delivery. What Youll Need to Succeed: Facilities Management Leader Minimum 5-8 years of experience in facilities or property management , particularly in the direct management of building maintenance, mechanical projects and subcontracted services Industry Certification Holds an accredited Commercial Real Estate designation (RPA, CPM, FMA, FMP) and/or a post-secondary degree with equivalent facilities management experience Strong Leadership Skills Proven ability to lead large teams and drive operational success. Tech-Savvy Comfortable using CMMS and other facility management software. Financial & Performance Oversight Extensive knowledge of budgeting, administration, and accounting processes . Excellent Communication & Customer Service Ability to build relationships and manage client needs effectively. Highly Organized Strong time management and organizational skills to keep operations running smoothly. Valid Drivers License & Clean Abstract Required for travel within the portfolio.
