Toys R Us Canada, proud to be Canadian owned and operated, has a full time opportunity for a full-time Material Handler in the Receiving department on the day shift. This position is performed in our Concord Distribution Centre.Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.We want to bring on someone who values what we value- teamwork, excellence, authenticity, accountability and integrity. Verify that Sku / Manufacturers number matches the physical merchandise and carton label.Verify that the quantities received match the quantities that are being shipped to ensure accuracy. Validate labels matched against vendors shipment. Report any discrepancies (shortage / overage) or damages to the Supervisor.Load and unload cartons either manually or by using powered equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Confirm product integrity by verifying that the physical product carton count received matches documentation.Ensure proper pallet count as indicated on the receiver or create a new pallet count. Perform stacking duties, manual and inner / piece breakdown as requiredWrapping duties as required. Ability to operate material handling equipment and powered equipment, namely the Walkie RiderInspect all powered equipment and complete the daily inspection sheet before operation of any powered equipment. Ensure internal and external customers requirements are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional mannerMaintain your work area in a safe and organized manner, ensuring housekeeping standards are adhered to. Comply with ToysRUs Health and Safety policies, procedures and standards and with the OHSA.Must be able to meet all productivity standards established by the company.
