Located in Oakville at the Mississauga border, our dynamic company has an exciting new opportunity for a National Sales Manager Prestige Beauty. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, results oriented, professional who has demonstrated success in the cosmetic industry. Position OverviewUnder the guidance of the VP of Sales Prestige Beauty, this position will be responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of the retail sales plans with Prestige Beauty retailers. This role involves increasing company revenue by generating sales from new and existing customers. To this end, the Account Manager will identify, qualify, and close accounts seeking the organizations products and services. The Account Manager will also work with sales channels to raise awareness of company offerings and initiate new business ventures in order to increase market share and meet fiscal goals.Responsibilities/Key TasksDevelop and maintain meaningful and profitable relationships with retail customersDevelop and initiate innovative plans, programs and strategies to provide significant value added service to the customersMaintain regular contact to manage customer relationships and attend industry, customer and trade eventsServe as a single-point-of-contact for key accounts; execute all services for clientDevelop and maintain relationships within assigned accountsCollaborate with customer contacts in order to define needs and provide solutionsIdentify and target new business sales opportunitiesPromote and maintain the organization's brand image and identity within the marketplaceDevelop sales goals for retail accounts and manage all aspects of strategic sales initiatives for those accountsAnalyze point of sale and other sales data; communicate trends, insights and risks via weekly performance reports to internal stakeholdersProvide input and assist in development of presentations and other marketing collateralCreate and conduct in-depth customer sales presentations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and value the company's products/servicesIdentify and resolve risks associated with the delivery and/or provision of customer contracts; manage client expectationsConduct and develop quarterly and annual account reviewsManage, negotiate, and track returns ensuring that budgets are respectedCollaborate with Brand Marketing team to develop and allocate product launches and event requirements, as well as tester and sample allocationsMaintain close contact with sales analyst team to track monthly retailer shipments for regular reviewKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of Prestige Cosmetics, consumer packaged goods or other related industryNegotiation and communication skillsSound strategic thinking, effective planning and execution skillsStrong customer focus with the ability to understand key business driversDemonstrated ability to be proactive and takes ownership to resolve issuesCreative, dynamic thinking individual with a demonstrated drive and passionAbility to work independently, make decisions where are appropriate and meet deadlinesStrong drive for flawless execution, high level of attention to detail and accuracyPersuasive interpersonal oral and written communication skillsProven ability to work effectively in a team environmentPrevious sales experience with SDM/LCL is required
