An expert presenter, negotiator, and businessperson who builds strategic partnerships and gains consensus across multiple organizational levels to maximize results. Experience selling technology products and services with focus on customer needs is required. The key to success in this role is to ask the right questions to understand the clients business operations, as well as to identify their current and future challenges.We are hiring you to find and close the deals and you will have support from our sales team in the deal cycle. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, personable, and passionate about the business you represent.This is a full-time remote employee role that must be based in Canada or the United States and reports into the Chief Revenue Officer. The successful candidate will be close to a major airport as travel within Canada and the United States is a requirement of the role to attend trade shows, conferences, customer meetings, and teambuilding events (approximately 10%).ResponsibilitiesGenerating Meetings and Deals: You are dedicated to finding net new business opportunities in your region, building a pipeline of qualified deals through strategic, and disciplined individual effort. Leveraging your existing network is a critical advantage to this role. Participation in industry networking events such as seminars and trade shows will also contribute to lead generation.Continuous Learning: You will develop a strong understanding of our products and services and demonstrate expertise in solving customer problems with the benefits of our solutions. Channel Relationships: You will build an understanding of how our channel partner solutions complement our solutions and collaborate with our channel partners to identify opportunities to cross-sell.Sales Presentations and Proposals: You will present and demonstrate ERP-Ones added value and capabilities to prospects and clients.Negotiating and Closing: Negotiate long term agreements with customers including pricing, terms, and conditions of sale.Performance Analysis: Consistently maintain accurate information of your activities, next steps, probabilities, communications and forecasting within our CRM.Experience and Qualifications5+ years of B2B sales,hunting, prospecting and closing new dealsExperience selling in the JD Edwards ecosystem is requiredExperience selling Oracle Cloud is a strong assetStrong background in developing and generating new pipeline and exceeding quota including a diligence to sales planning and execution Experience in understanding client requirements and delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needsRelevant post-secondary education in business, computer science, management, finance, or related fields preferred.Skills and competencies that will lead to success in this role:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand challenges and opportunities from key stakeholders and C-level executives, and clearly articulate potential solutions.Self-starter who is comfortable reaching out, communicating, and building relationships with prospective customers.Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and delivery teams.Solid experience in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and CRM software (Hubspot).Rewards:Canadian-based employees:Competitive base salary range $90,000 - $110,000 CAD dependent on candidates qualificationsExpected base:variable ratio is 2:1Variable incentive target for year one is $50,000 (currency dependent on new client location)Fully remote role must be based in Canada near a major airportHealth, dental, telemedicine, and flexible health spending accountGenerous vacation time and 5 personal daysTechnology allowance for new employeesMonthly cell/internet allowanceChoice of Windows or Mac laptopUS-based employees:Competitive base salary range $90,000 - $110,000 USD dependent on candidates qualificationsExpected base:variable ratio is 2:1Variable incentive target for year one is $50,000 (currency dependent on new client location)$1,000 USD/month health allowance for individuals, $1,250 USD/month for couples, and $1,500 USD/month for family coverageStatutory benefits are covered by ERP-One (Medicare, social security, worker's compensation, statutory disability, federal and state unemployment insurance)Fully remote role must be based in the United States near a major airportGenerous vacation time and 5 personal daysTechnology allowance for new employeesMonthly cell/internet allowanceChoice of Windows or Mac laptopWorking Conditions:This position requires long periods of sitting or standing while working on a computer.This position requires travel within the US and Canada which requires the ability to sit in a car, airport, or on a plane for long periods and to move through airports, customer sites, and conferences with ease.This position requires mental focus and can be moderately stressful at times due to the target-driven nature of sales work.Depending on the nature of the role you are applying for, and the province or state in which you live, your employment may be conditional on the provision of a clear criminal record check prior to the issuance of any job offer.This posting will remain open until filled and there is a total of one position available.
