My Catering Group is a multi-faceted catering company that has expanded through various contracts, and were looking for amazing, like-minded individuals to join our growing team. Our operations are based at the Museum of History, the Museum of Nature, the Canadian War Museum and Vignoble de Chelsea, but our events take place all over the city.The Sales Associate plays a vital role in driving revenue and ensuring exceptional customer service at My Catering Group. This position is responsible for managing client inquiries, building quotes, and facilitating smooth communication between clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, providing personalized service and support throughout the sales process. You will qualify leads, craft tailored quotes, and work closely with our culinary team to create custom menus that meet client needs. Also, you will be able to coordinate the transition of confirmed events to our operations team, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to event execution.Key Responsibilities:Responding promptly to client inquiries and engaging with them to gather the necessary details for quotes and event planning.Qualifying leads and gathering additional information from clients as needed via email or phone.Creating personalized, accurate quotes and following up with clients to discuss adjustments or preferences.Maintaining clear, professional communication with clients, addressing all questions and ensuring follow-up tasks are completed.Collaborating with the culinary team and coordination team to design custom menus and beverage options for corporate, wedding, and other events.Attending industry events and networking to promote the company, generate leads, and build client relationships.Qualifications:Ideally 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, with a preference for experience in the catering or event planning industry.Knowledge of sales strategies and techniques to engage clients and drive successful outcomes.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and colleagues.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple inquiriesProficiency in CRM tools and Google Suite, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software.Bilingual in French and English is required for this role.If you're passionate about sales and customer service and want to work in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!My Catering Group is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, transgender status, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
