Job Description:The Operations & Sales Advisor is responsible for conducting thorough store audits, pinpointing opportunities for improvement, and delivering actionable coaching to franchisees to boost operational efficiency, customer service, and profitability. Responsibilities:Conduct Comprehensive Store Audits: Schedule and execute regular on-site store audits based on established franchise standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).Evaluate store operations across various areas, including: Customer service and sales performance.Inventory management and merchandising.Store cleanliness and maintenance.Adherence to brand standards and procedures.Point-of-sale (POS) system utilization.Staffing and training effectiveness.Loss prevention.Document audit findings thoroughly and accurately using standardised reporting tools.Identify Areas for Improvement and Develop Action Plans: Analyze audit data to pinpoint specific areas where franchisees can improve their performance.Collaborate with franchisees to develop customised action plans that address identified areas for improvement.Prioritize improvement initiatives based on impact and feasibility.Provide Effective Coaching and Training: Deliver constructive feedback and targeted coaching to franchisees and their staff.Provide hands-on training on best practices for retail operations, guest service, latte art and brand standards.Conduct follow-up visits and provide ongoing support to ensure franchisees effectively implement their action plans.Facilitate training on new company initiatives.Monitor and Track Performance: Track franchisee progress against established KPIs and action plans.Provide regular performance reports to franchise management and franchisees.Identify and address recurring performance issues.Monitor franchise compliance with all company policies.Build Strong Franchise Relationships: Establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with franchisees.Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for franchisees.Address franchisee concerns and provide timely support.Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Trends: Research and stay informed about current retail trends and best practices.Share relevant industry insights with franchisees and franchise management.Provide feedback to corporate on ways to improve operations.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a coffee shop supervisor or manager, with a proven track record in a multi-unit or franchise environment preferred. Advanced latte art skills, with the ability to teach and standardize techniques across franchise locations (skills will be tested during interview process). Demonstrated ability to conduct effective store audits and identify improvement opportunities. Strong coaching and training skills, with a knack for motivating and developing others in a coffee shop setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems. Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel frequently to franchise locations.
