National Account Manager Grocery ChannelRole OverviewThe National Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales and trade spend targets by developing strategic customer relationships, managing key accounts, and driving business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Account Management:Build and maintain relationships with key national accounts, including buyers, category managers, and marketing teams.Develop and execute annual sales plans, budgets, and trade spend strategies.Conduct regular business reviews with customers to assess performance, present new items, and manage promotional calendars.Identify growth opportunities and risks, providing action plans to address them.Lead negotiations on pricing, cost increases, and contract terms.Replenishment & Supply Chain Coordination:Partner with retailer replenishment teams to ensure effective inventory management and fulfillment.Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Inside Sales, Logistics) to meet key performance metrics such as fill rate and OTIF (On Time In Full).Identify and resolve supply chain gaps or inefficiencies.Trade Spend & Forecasting:Manage trade spend and promotional budgets, ensuring accuracy and accountability.Develop and track sales forecasts by SKU, ensuring alignment with company targets.Approve and reconcile trade spend invoices.Qualifications & ExperiencePost-secondary education in Business, Sales, or Marketing (or equivalent experience).5+ years of sales experience in CPG, preferably in the grocery/retail sector.Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and trade spend optimization.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools (e.g., Nielsen, LDIA).Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Additional DetailsRemote role based in the GTAIdeal candidate will have depth of experience with on Loblaw account
