Job Title:Production ManagerSalary: $90,000 - $100,000Location:7600 MacDonald Road, Delta, BC, V4G 1N2Company:Trafa Pharmaceutical Inc.Department:Manufacturing & OperationsEmployment Type:Full-TimePRIMARY FUNCTIONWe are seeking an experienced and results-drivenProduction Managerto lead and oversee all aspects of production operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.JOB DUTIES AND TASKSProduction Oversight:Plan, organize, and supervise production schedules and workflows to meet company targets and deadlines.Team Leadership:Manage and lead production staff, including supervisors, operators, and technicians. Provide training, support, and performance evaluations.Process Optimization:Identify and implement improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.Quality & Compliance:Ensure operations are compliant with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards (Health Canada, FDA, etc.).Inventory & Supply Coordination:Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging components.Equipment Maintenance:Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery and equipment are functioning safely and efficiently.Safety Management:Promote and enforce a safe working environment and adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.Reporting:Monitor production KPIs and prepare regular reports on productivity, downtime, yield, and quality metrics.WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCEEDBachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role, preferably in the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry.Strong knowledge of cGMP, HACCP, and other relevant quality standards.Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
